These old friend sure know how to throw a family getaway.Salma Hayek and Pierce Brosnan brought their families together to have some fun in the sun in Hawaii last week.

While the pair have played onscreen loves a few times, off-screen they are just really good friends so they were joined by their partners François-Henri Pinault and Keely Shaye Smith.

Also lapping up the sunshine was Pierce's 14-year-old son Paris and Salma's seven-year-old daughter Valentina Paloma.Despite the fact that they are all multimillionaires, the group appeared to be having a very low key vacation

While most celebrities stay in exclusive secluded villas or spend their days in catered cabanas, the two families came together like your average family would.

Hitting the beach early, the group threw their towels down on the sand and demarcated out their only little sandy spot before all heading into the water.

The six-some amused themselves by splish splashing around in the shallows with little Valentina showing off her impressive swimming skills, paddling back and forth between her parents.

At one stage the actress and her French businessman husband attempted to have a little time on their own, sharing a big hug.But their little water baby would have none of it, swimming over to them so she could get a hug too.

Pierce meanwhile, also shared some swimming time with his wife, holding on to her as she kicked back and relaxed in the water.The 62-year-old actor did not have too much time to kick back with his son launching a sneak attack.
